Loss comes in many forms; we are all intimate with it. Grief is the result of loss, the process of working through myriad thoughts, beliefs and feelings tied to loss. It is among the most human of experiences. But God Himself is no stranger to grief; it can be a holy practice. And it appears to be central to God’s plan for our lives.
This workshop, hosted by LCI (The Lay Counselor Institute), is meant to help pastors, counselors, lay counselors and leaders, small group leaders, ministry staff, and others who’ve chosen a relational ministry, to face our own grief and come alongside others who grieve in a more helpful manner. The workshop will consist of both content and experiential exercises. Handouts and a resource list will be provided. You can get more information or sign up on the LCI website.
